Facing the Atlantic Ocean, this Lisbon Coast luxury holiday home is available for rentals of 4 nights minimum and is ideal for those who want a break but with plenty to do. It sits on the main coastal road linking the old fishing town of Cascais to Guincho beach, on Portugal’s famous Riviera seafront near Lisbon.

Dating back to 1923, Palacete Cascais is a unique and striking palatial villa, which has been lovingly refurbished into a modern and stylish holiday rental property fitted with all mod cons, yet within keeping of its original original grace. An opulent central staircase, noble wood paneled floors and ceilings, large panoramic windows and shaded terraces from where one can enjoy the fabulous sea views, are just some of the unique features of this property. There are 6 bedrooms each with either a private or en-suite bathroom, plus a children’s playroom at basement level. The spacious sitting room opens onto a covered terrace for relaxing or dining outdoors, and there is a large dining room and well-equipped kitchen. A lawn garden surrounds the palace and includes a swimming pool at the rear, which can be heated and illuminated at night.

Cook Service is available on request at Palacete Cascais – there are several options available from half to full-board, adapted to guests’ requirements.

A cycling, running and walking path passes immediately in front of the villa and goes all the way to scenic Guincho beach, and there is a good choice of seafood restaurants along the way. The area in general offers excellent sports amenities such as sailing, golf, tennis, horse riding, surfing, kite-surfing and paddle boarding amongst others. And with the Atlantic Ocean on your doorstep, there are many beaches to choose from too.

Cascais town centre is only a short walk away has a wide choice of restaurants and cafes, museums and shops; whilst Estoril nearby, hosts the largest Casino in Europe. Sintra’s historic centre at 19 kms distance and Lisbon city centre just over half-hour away, are both a must visit.

  • Minimum 1-week rental applies in High Season or 4 nights other periods; flexible change-overs days apply
  • Extra services on request, are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season
  • Check-in after 16:00 hours & check-out before 11:00 hours
  • Non-smoking property (outdoor only) & no pets; guests are also requested to not use outdoor shoes inside the property  & that due care is taken with the light coloured carpets
  • Parties for more than extra capacity on request; and due to the location of the property there are restrictions on music being played or another excessive noise after 23:00 hours
  • 30% non-refundable rental deposit required to reserve the property
  • Balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental
  • Security deposit of €3,000 for rentals up to 2 weeks; and 20% of the total rental value for bookings over 2 weeks, to be paid in advance of rental. In exceptional cases & when pre-arranged, the security deposit can be paid at the property – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
