Formosa Beach House is a modern villa of 218 sq metres with a thatched roof and a chalet-style interior and enjoys a sunny spot near the region’s best golden sandy beaches. The open living space with polished cement floors and wood-paneled walls makes for a cozy setting, whilst floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a decked terrace, swimming pool, and heated jacuzzi.

There are sofa beds in the living areas of both the main house and the guest cabana allowing for extra guests on request, but this villa is ideally suited for up to 6 adults and 2 children.

Formosa Beach House sits atop sand dunes planted indigenous shrubs and trees. Decked pathways (floodlit at night) take you around the grounds of approximately 2,000 sq metres, which also include an outdoor sand volleyball court for guests to enjoy.

Pego and Carvalhal beaches nearby each host’s great beach bars/restaurants and surfing amenities. Carvalhal village has some simple eateries and bars, as well as shops selling locally caught fish and grown vegetables. The area can also be explored by bike and you can go horse riding at “Cavalos na Areia”. Comporta village with its hippy-chic shops and a wide range of restaurants is located 11 kms drive away.

WARNING NOTES: Due to some various unprotected drops (both interior and exterior) this property is not ideal for unsupervised toddlers! And being a newly built villa, the plants around the grounds are not yet mature enough to offer total privacy.

• Minimum 1-week rentals and Saturday changeovers preferred; except between 1 January-25 March and mid-October to mid-December, when rentals of 4-nights minimum apply

• No parties for more than full capacity, no pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
• Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; no credit cards accepted locally, only cash
• Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
• Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental 
• Security deposit of €750 to be paid in advance of rental; in exceptional cases & when pre-arranged, the security deposit can be paid at the property – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holida
