This family holiday villa of contemporary design totals 230 square metres, set within 8,5 hectares of peaceful fenced-in grounds planted with pines and cork oak trees, in rural Muda near Comporta, with some exceptional beaches to be enjoyed nearby. A welcome evening meal is included in the rental with an option to book extra meals with the cook thereafter.

Villa Verão has been constructed with traditional, eco-friendly building techniques of the region. All the rooms open onto the garden, and there is mosquito netting on the sliding exterior windows to allow fresh breezes to cool the house. An overflowing swimming pool is surrounded by a wooden deck, and the covered terrace just off the living room is perfect for chilling out and outdoor meals. The garden is all floodlit at night, creating a wonderful atmosphere and a place to enjoy some serenity and stargazing.

Extremely well equipped, amenities include a games/home cinema room with satellite TV and Bluetooth sound systems, as well as WiFi available throughout. The modern interiors are fitted with air conditioning and/or central heating if required.

Here you can enjoy jogging or kicking a soccer ball under a lush canopy of trees, and the villa also provides yoga mats, table soccer, and several bikes for guests to use – we recommend a ride to the weir of Vale de Coelheiros, set within a protected nature reserve.

The trendy Comporta region is located 1 hour south of Lisbon, where the Sado River meets the ocean – a perfect setting for both lazy or active family holidays or simply a fun friends-get-together. This stunning part of Portugal’s Atlantic coast includes Pego and Carvalhal beaches, located approximately 5-10 minutes’ drive away from Villa Verão and Melides beach, a little further away. You can learn to surf and stand-up paddleboard on the local beaches, or go horse riding nearby. The property is also situated within walking distance to the Spa and Restaurant of a luxury hotel.

WARNING NOTES: Due to some unprotected drops from the pool terrace and some garden levels, young children must be supervised.

2026 RENTAL PRICES IN EUROS

July & August: €1,500 p/night (minimum stays of 7 nights)

May, June & September: €1,050 p/night (minimum stays of 5 nights)

Extra 9th Guest: Surcharge of €1,000 p/week

Minimum 7-night rentals apply in July & August and 5 nights in May, June & September; flexible check-in and check-out days
Check-in after 16:00 hours & check-out before 10:00 hours
No parties for more than full capacity, not pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; no credit cards accepted locally, only cash
Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental, not refundable after this date
Security deposit of €1,500 to be paid in advance of rental – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
