A perfect blend of modern comfort and location, this minimalist holiday home sits in a peaceful neighbourhood between Carvalhal and Comporta villages. Casa dos Passaros is enveloped by private grounds of 424 sq metres with similar villas nearby, offering a sense of privacy and relaxation. The most stunning beaches of the exclusive Comporta coastline are just a short drive away.

The spacious accommodation comprises an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with expansive sliding glass doors that lead to a decked terrace overlooking a pine forest. This is a wonderful spot for leisurely outdoor meals while children swim in the private pool or play in the sand dune inspired garden. Upstairs there are 3 ensuite bedrooms.

The property is fully equipped with modern appliances, air conditioning and heating, ensuring comfort throughout all seasons.

One of our favourite local beaches is Brejos da Carregueira, a secluded gem reached via a scenic dirt road winding through pastures and rice fields. It’s unspoiled and remote, lacking amenities, making it perfect for those who appreciate nature and tranquillity – we suggest you take a picnic with you. At Praia do Carvalhal & Praia do Pego you will find lively fashionable beach bars for those seeking a more social or culinary beach experience.

Situated just 1.5 hours south of Lisbon, at the meeting point of the Sado River and the Atlantic, Comporta is renowned for its natural beauty, iconic thatched cabanas, stork nests and rice fields. The area is ideal for active holidays and are opportunities for horse riding, golf, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding close by. But at the end of your full day, we invite to sit back and sip a glass of local wine whilst watching the sun go down – the region is famous for its stunning sunsets.

July & August – €850 per night

June & September, Easter & New Year – €700 per night

May & October – €550 per night

January to April, November & December (excluding Easter & New Year) – €470 per night

NB Long term rentals negotiable

  • Minimum 7-nights rentals with Saturday changeovers applies in July & August; 4 nights minimum accepted during other periods but a preference is given to full week rentals
  • Check-in after 16:00 hours & check-out before 10:00 hours
  • No parties for more than full capacity, no pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
  • Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; paid in cash locally, credit cards are not accepted
  • Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
  • Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental, not refundable after this date
  • Security deposit of €750 to be paid in advance of rental - this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
