Casa da Praia is ideal for a small family holiday or for those wanting to play in one of the area’s many golf courses. Located only 50 meters away from sandy Praia Grande, from its terraces, you can enjoy tranquil views of yachts and fishing boats peacefully passing by.

Formally a beekeepers’ cottage, Casa da Praia has been completely refurbished into a compact but well equipped beach-chic holiday villa on one level with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two extra children may be accommodated on request. Featuring a fireplace as well as air-conditioning, the villa is suitable for year-round rentals.

Casa da Praia is the smaller of 2 holiday villas that can be rented independently or together on the same estate – the other is Casa da Infanta for 19 guests. Each is secluded by pinewoods and has a private pool (which can be heated), as well as direct beach access.

You can also walk along the beach to the charming waterside village of Ferragudo, a gem of the Algarve coast, hosting a number of quayside fresh fish and seafood restaurants.

WARNING NOTES: There are some unprotected drops from various terraces and around the swimming pool – young children need to be supervised.

• Beach: a gentle slope and walk from the estate grounds will take you to sandy Praia Grande, approx. 50 metres

• Ferragudo (nearest shops & restaurants): 1 km drive or walk along the beach past Forte S João
• Golf Courses: within a 15-20 minute drive you can reach Alamos, Alto Golf, Penina, Gramacho, Morgado do Reguengo, Vale da Pinta & Vale do Milho courses
• Tennis: Carvoeiro Club, 3 kms
• Portimão & Marina (major shops & banks, bars & restaurants, hospital etc): on the other side of the river, 6 kms drive away

• No parties for more than full capacity, no pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
• Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; no credit cards accepted locally, only cash
• Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
• Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental, not refundable after this date

• Security deposit of €750 to be paid in advance of rental – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
