Originally designed in the 1980’s and recently renovated, Waterfront Villa´s post-modern architecture with panoramic glass windows enhances the property’s natural setting as well as bring the outdoors in. The villa has a spacious and stretched-out layout, beautifully decorated with ethnic pieces and earthen hues, curated into an exquisite holiday home.  Every room has direct access to the garden and enjoys views over the Ria Formosa lagoon and the ocean; whilst the open plan living room and modern kitchen are sure to be the heart of the family or friend’s get-together. All bedrooms are equipped with king size beds, three of them with en-suite shower bathrooms.

Waterfront Villa is surrounded by private grounds totalling 6,900 sq metres, located where once stood the Roman coastal town of Balsa. The property enjoys a unique and serene setting (with a few neighbouring villas) near the fishing village of Santa Luzia, just west of the charming town of Tavira. Faro International Airport is only a 30-minute drive away.

The Algarve boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine a year and the Ria Formosa Natural Park stretches along 60 kms of its coast. Protected from the open ocean by a labyrinth of barrier-islands and pristine stretches of sand, its lagoon and tidal marshlands are a sanctuary for over 200 species of waterbirds, seahorses and chameleons amongst others. Fresh fish and seafood including oysters and clams, regional wines and sea salt extraction are central ingredients of the delicious local gastronomy!

2024 RENTAL PRICES IN EUROS

July & August, Easter & Christmas €11,200 per week

May, June & September €9,000 per week

March, April & October €8,000 per week

BOOKING & CANCELLATION TERMS

  • Minimum 7-nights rentals with Saturday changeovers preferred between 1 May – 31 October as well as Easter & Christmas periods; 5 nights minimum stay applies other periods
  • Check-in between 16:00-19:00 hours & check-out before 11:00 hours
  • No parties for more than full capacity, no pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
  • Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance, especially in high season; credit cards accepted locally
  • Non-refundable rental deposit of 50% required to reserve the property
  • Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental, not refundable after this date 
  • Security deposit of €3,000 to be paid in advance of rental - this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
