The interiors of this one-off property are a blend of elegance and high-tech functionality. State of the art interiors include air-conditioning, wifi throughout, home cinema, smart TV’s in all the bedrooms and Bluetooth shower speakers; as well as luxuries like premium bed linen and towels, duck-feather pillows, select Portuguese bathroom toiletries and bathrobes.

Breakfast is included in the rental and you can book the services of a private chef to experience some of the Azores gastronomy within the wonderful setting of the villa.

The upper terrace, in particular, is the perfect spot for watching the sun go down and some star gazing: it has a large telescope plus perfectly positioned suspended chairs and loungers from which to enjoy the villa’s stunning setting. A fun feature is the staircase that illuminates as you ascend to the upstairs level. All the bedrooms-suites are incredibly spacious, two on each floor and three looking down to the ocean. Downstairs there is a well-equipped kitchen and open plan living/dining room with a feature fireplace. The indoor jacuzzi room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows opening onto a partly covered terrace and an elegant pool deck, both of which enjoy panoramic views.

Bursting with verdant and colourful plants, the garden has a BBQ area and hammocks dotted around, perfect relaxing with a book! Or you can explore the island on an e-bike, provided complimentary with your rental.

A great way to learn about the Azores unique flora and fauna, there are ecological walking trails located just a couple of minutes away from the villa; but another must explore site on the island is the extraordinarily beautiful man-made landscape of Pico’s Vineyard Culture, which has evolved over 500 years and is now a protected by UNESCO.
