This luxury villa of contemporary design totals 230 square metres set within 8,5 hectares of peaceful fenced-in grounds planted with pines and cork oaks, in rural Muda near Comporta, with some exceptional beaches to be enjoyed nearby. The property is also located within walking distance to the Spa and Restaurant of a luxury hotel or we can arrange for a local  to prepare evening meals for you at the villa.

Villa Verão has been constructed with traditional eco-friendly building technics of the region. All the rooms open onto the garden and there is mosquito netting on the sliding exterior windows to allow fresh breezes to cool the house. An overflowing swimming pool is surrounded by a wooden deck and the covered terrace just off the living room is perfect for chilling out and outdoor meals. The garden is all floodlit at night, creating a wonderful atmosphere and a place to enjoy some serenity and star gazing.

Extremely well equipped, amenities include a games/home cinema room with satellite TV, gaming console and Bluetooth sound system, as well as WiFi available throughout. The modern interiors are also fitted with air conditioning and/or central heating if required. And there are several bikes and yoga mats for guests to use – we recommend a ride to the weir of Vale de Coelheiros set within a protected nature reserve. Alternatively, you can enjoy jogging around the property, a soccer kick-around in between the lush pine and cork trees or even a game of table soccer.

The trendy Comporta region is located 1 hour south of Lisbon where the Sado River meets the ocean – a perfect setting for both lazy or active family holidays or simply a fun friends-get-together. This stunning part of Portugal’s Atlantic coast includes Pego and Carvalhal beaches located approximately 5-10 minutes’ drive away from Villa Verão and Melides beach a little further away. You can learn to surf and stand-up paddling on the local beaches, on go horse riding nearby

For stays in September & October 2021 the following offer applies: 40% off for up to 4 guests and a minimum of 4 nights, based on a pro-rated rate.

  • Minimum 1-week rentals apply all periods with 2 days cleaning between bookings
  • Check-in after 16:00 hours & check-out before 10:00 hours 
  • No parties for more than full capacity, not pets & strictly no smoking indoors (penalty equal to security deposit)
  • Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; no credit cards accepted locally, only cash
  • Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
  • Special “Covid19 Pandemic” flexi terms up to 9 weeks before the start of the rental date – option of changing to alternative dates up to the end of 2021, free of charge and subject to availability; although we recommend that you also be covered by Covid 19 related insurance similar to
  • Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental
  • Security deposit of €2,500 to be paid in advance of rental; in exceptional cases & when pre-arranged, the security deposit can be paid at the property – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
