This luxury Comporta villa has very spacious and elegant interiors totalling 460 sq metres of living space, that sit beautifully within the 12 hectares of lush pine forest that surrounds it, located in rural Muda and within 5-10 minutes to Carvalhal and Pego beaches.

The accommodation at As Oliveiras comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms plus a self-contained apartment, which is ideal for guests who want to travel with their own private staff or for teenagers wanting some independence. A deluxe master bedroom on the first floor benefits from a large private terrace looking over the infinity swimming pool and has a super spacious bathroom, with panoramic windows over the surrounding countryside. All the other bedrooms and the apartment have their own secluded outdoor sitting areas. 

A massive living room has a double height ceiling and all around floor-to-ceiling glass windows allowing for masses of light to pour in, with a minimalist style sitting/dining areas opening onto decked terraces on three sides for dining “al fresco”, swimming and sunbathing or just chilling out!

Olive trees, Mediterranean shrubs and aromatic herbs frame the long infinity swimming pool and decked terraces of As Oliveiras at Comporta; with the lavender and rosemary giving off wonderful aromas day or night. Being south facing, the villa enjoys bright sunlight right through to sunset and the gardens are floodlit at night; so different terraces provide magical spaces to relax in at different times of the day.

WARNING NOTES: Due to unprotected drops from some terraces and infinity pool, glass French windows and low tables with hard corners this property is not ideal for toddlers and young children must be supervised.

  • Minimum of 1-week rentals apply all year
  • Maximum capacity of 10 applies in July & August with Saturday changeovers; 6 person capacity is possible (ground floor only) during other periods with flexible changeovers; the owner reserves the right to occupy the independent top floor suite when the villa is only booked for 6 guests
  • Check-in after 16:00 hours & check-out before 10:00 hours
  • No parties for more than full capacity, not pets, strictly no smoking indoors & no barbeques/fireplaces due to fire risk (penalty equal to security deposit)
  • Extra services are subject to availability and should be booked well in advance especially in high season; no credit cards accepted locally, only cash
  • Non-refundable rental deposit of 30% required to reserve the property
  • Special “Covid19 Pandemic” flexi terms up to 9 weeks before the start of the rental date (except July & August) – option of changing to alternative dates up to the end of 2021, free of charge and subject to availability; although we recommend that you also be covered by Covid 19 related insurance similar to
  • Rental balance due 6 weeks prior to start date of rental
  • Security deposit of €2,000 to be paid in advance of rental; in exceptional cases & when pre-arranged, the security deposit can be paid at the property – this amount minus any applicable charges is refundable at the end of the holiday
